Long and sharp pet nails can be uncomfortable for both owners and pets. They can cause frequent snagging on fabrics like pouches or clothing. Traditional nail trimming methods with clippers can be challenging and potentially harmful if not done properly. Sandy Trimmer Strips provide a soft and abrasive surface for your pet while they use their exercise wheel or other cage accessories. By installing the adhesive strips onto the wheel, your pet's nails will naturally be filed down as they run. These strips are completely safe and ensure no harm or discomfort to your pet. However, it may be necessary to initially trim your pet's nails with clippers before using the Sandy Trimmer Strips. Once installed, the strips will help maintain smooth nails through regular use.
Note: Use sparingly for animals with sensitive feet such as Hedgehogs, Hamsters, Gerbils, etc.
Instructions: Before applying the strips, clean the surface with rubbing alcohol (not water or detergent) and allow it to air dry. Then, apply the strips firmly, pressing on each strip for at least 30 seconds. Wait for one hour before placing the wheel or accessory inside the cage.
Materials: The strips are made of vinyl with 60-grit calcium carbonate.
